Stop anxiety with Drug Free Therapy.  We can do this!

“For years anxiety’ limited and thwarted my work and relationships.  For years I did not know what ‘it’ was.  I felt ‘anxiety’  as depression, panic attacks, procrastination, headaches, exhaustion and sometimes felt physically ill.  I have made it a passion to find out how I could change channels in my brain to manage anxiety and live to my fullest potential, live my dreams and thrive.  It was important to use methods that were approachable, simple, healthy, long-lasting and successful.  In my books, I share the gems that have shifted old thinking patterns of myself and that of my students. If I can do it, so can you! I am certain we can do this!”

Third Edition Loving Your Life by award-winning author, Elke Scholz MA, RP, REACE, Registered Expressive Arts Consultant/Educator, Registered Psychotherapist, with the CRPO College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, Certified EMDR Therapist, Canada and US, has everything to do with being mindful, being creative, and using art in drug-free therapy to help youth and adults live life to the fullest as they navigate through life’s trials and tribulations, and maintain a clear and healthy mind, body and spirit.

A thin veneer stands between the half a million Canadians who missed work this week and their struggle with mental health issues. When it cracks, researchers tell us one in four of us will experience a serious mental health issue in our lifetime. Suicide results in the deaths of 762 young people every year.  Mental illness costs Canadians 60 Billion dollars per year!

Since 1980, Elke has been helping– inner-city kids, teens and adults—people of all ages living through their darkest moments; for others, her therapy is a way to deal with stressful situations before feelings of hopelessness set in. Calm replaces turmoil, and fears and anxieties are replaced with a focus on creating images that can help individuals understand who they are and their surroundings, unblock their feelings and learn new ways to embrace change and live life to its fullest.

As a registered psychotherapist, Elke’s focus is on building the inner strengths of people.  She also assists youth-at-risk with creative living and learning to help them become engaged with attending class and gaining life skills.

Elke Scholz MA, REACE, RP, has her Masters in Expressive Art Therapy. She is a certified EMDR Therapist. She uses DBT, CBT, and solution-focused therapy.  Many insurances and NHIB ( First Nations Health Benefits ) cover her services.   Elke works with educators, social workers, doctors, corporations, organizations and groups. She has spent over forty years helping people.
